Week of Utah Shutdown Wedding
Plans changed drastically as each day went by on the week leading up to Angela and Trent’s wedding day. COVID-19 shutdowns began, an earthquake hit Salt Lake City and grocery stores turned into mass chaos. Their venue had to close the day before their wedding and group sizes became limited. Luckily, they had a friend with a beautiful studio space and they were able to hold their wedding there. It turned out so beautiful, that you would think they had planned it there all along. No one would know that this was all put together, literally overnight. This couple just reminds me that no matter what catastrophe is happening in the world, love always wins out. She was graceful and kind. You can see in her face how genuinely happy she is. Her dress was absolutely stunning on her. It had a beautiful open laced back with long lace sleeves. Trent’s mom helped in making the most beautiful bundt cakes (as all the food and catering cancelled during this shutdown week as well). These are one of my favorite pieces of their wedding day. Her sweet act of love to make all these cakes for their special day just warms my heart. Moms will always do all they can for their babes. These cakes are drool worthy! I would recommend copying this idea on a regular basis. I wish this lovely couple all the best in their life together and delight in their happiness.
